Becoming Holy

About me…I am a forty-something mom, raising four beautiful daughters and a son.  They range in age from five years to twenty-one and all live at home.  I have been a home schooling mom since 2002 and love the time I have with my kids.  I have five children in heaven and look forward to seeing them again!  Our oldest daughter, Jordan, is discerning a vocation with the Sisters of Life in NYC!  Our second oldest, Gabbie, has a progressive degerative illness that doesn’t define her~but does impact our story as a family!  Our daughter, Madison, is talented academically and musically.  Nicole is all about basketball, sewing and being creative.  Max is an amazing little boy~with a deep spirituality for one so young!  My husband is a pillar of strength and the love of my life.  I affectionately refer to him as “Prince Charming” because he is my happily ever after!  I am a passionate follower of Jesus Christ!  Being Catholic has enriched my life beyond belief.  Life’s struggles are manageable because, “I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.”

My hope in this blog is to share my story, to share the story of my family.  I hope it gives you joy, comfort, and hope.  Most of all, I pray it glorifies God.  My desire is to share how His presence in my life transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary.

This is my journey. I write about paths I've traveled, lessons learned and mistakes made. Of course I can't neglect the path I am following right now.

Sometimes, I like to write things. Sometimes, I also like to post them. This blog has my creative musings, browse and enjoy as you'd like.
